I was finally able to take the time to e-mail tech support the problem I was having. Turns out that the problem was NOT PhotoGrav or Windows 7. I also want to add that Tech support took a few hours to find the problem which will save me hours of work. For that I say Thank you again. I apologize that I ever said anything negative in the first place.
 
Ok, so you want to know what the problem was? My shading in pictures, when run thru photgrav came thru in layers that looked awlful. If you ever have this problem, there is a simple solution. I was using JPEG images. if I convert them to BMP before running thru PhotGrav they were perfect. Try it sometime.

assuming that the application is on your computer and not on network, i should say just copy the file to your local drive and then try again.

Have tried this, and have tried opening multiple files of multiple types. Most are accessed via a network drive but it won't open the ones on the network drive or on the local computer.

We recently changed the computers here to a domain on the network side. For some reason PhotoGrav will open, but will not open any images. It keeps saying the image might be opened in another place. We have rebooted the workstation many times. The 3.0 CD is in a fire safe tucked away in the garage so reinstallation is not an option unless there is a download for 3.0 somewhere? Please help quick!
